Well, this was, what would be, the longest week of my entire mission, of course, mathematically (I am a nerd) it is the same, you all understand what I'm saying. To make a long story short, my trainee was transferred, and I am now in a trio again, with Elder Hughes and Elder Memmott! It was rough, but everyone is in a better situation now! This week was just a big blob because of that, but we ended the week pretty well! We had a dinner with the Guerrero family! HE GOT ME A NEW SIGNED TOM BRADY JERSEY (Not a Buccaneers one, but STILL) it meant so much, especially after the week we had all had!  Sacrament really made my week, the peace and joy it brings, as we're able to recognize and remember Christ and what he did for each and everyone of us!  This week, the stories aren't great but it showed me the importance of Charity! No matter the outcome of a situation, and no matter how someone treats you, you can love and forgive them, but to paraphrase Jeffery R Holland, it does no...

Okay, first off everyone, I am officially old in the mission! I HAVE OVER ONE YEAR, WHAT IS HAPPENING, TIME IS GOING BY WAY TOO FAST!! WHAT ON EARTH!!! I LOVE THE MISSION (good start to the email, hopefully caught everyone's attention) Monday, I witnessed, quite possibly, one of the most spectacular eating displays ever. It was an all you can eat sushi place, but if you don't finish, you pay for all the leftovers. So Elder Spencer, already having downed 3 rolls, orders 2 rolls of a monster roll. He gets 16 pieces, his eyes go wide realizing the mistake he's made. But I turn away for, LITERALLY A MINUTE, I turn back, HE IS EATING THE VERY LAST PIECE, HE INHALED IT, IT WAS AMAZING!!!  A lot of this week, we had to re-organize our entire apartment (it's not built for 4 people) to fit Elder Kata here! Basically, we organized, studied, and after dinner we taught and contacted a ton!!!  On thursday, it was the day!! I picked up my trainee!!! His name is Elder Kata!! He's ...

My second son, shedding a tear of joy :,) Week #12 (I think)

First things first! Transfers news... WE'RE ALL STAYING, BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE... I'M OPENING A NEW SPANISH AREA... AND I'M TRAINING!! IT'S GOING TO BE SO FREAKING AWESOME!!! YEEHAW!! Well there's that for you all, I'll get into it now! Monday, oh man. The Guerreros came firing on all cylinders! WE GOT CRAB, AND LOBSTER AND SHRIMP, OH IT WAS SO GLORIOUS!!! The oil didn't hit too well, but I was too fat and happy to notice! What a time, seriously, just such a great time! Then we had an amazing discussion with them on the role we missionaries have, and we can accomplish our goals and purpose here! Was amazing and definitely changed my outlook on the mission!! Me and Elder Hughes got to give our training for district council, we spoiled the district with homemade bread, man, good times! Last district council of my second transfer:'( bitter-sweet moments! And an exchange with Elder Spencer! A member gave us Enchiladas and Horchata and then... I CAUGHT ...

My brain is fried, what week is it?

Shorter email for y'all this week, because I don't have a lot of time! Man, I should really work on time management This week, they told us we could BAPTIZE PEOPLE WHO ARE OLDER THAN 65 YEARS OLD (of course, only if they're in good health, we're staying safe out here) I was assigned to make a beast Spanish video, so a member loaned us the nicest Camera! Elder Memmott was playing with it for so long! I'm getting really good at lemon bars and cookies, also rolls, so if anyone wants some baking done, hit me up, because the great British bake off has nothing on me, lol. We're staying busy, teaching a little less this week, but definitely more driving, lol This week, I was preparing for my training at district council and it was to focus on how Christ grew in stature, and wisdom and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52) He grew physically, so keep yourself physcially strong, in shape! But to grow in wisdom, requires us to act, to pray with REAL intent. If we pray, b...

Is it possible for me to be even more white than I already am, yes, it requires whipped cream (Week 10 of Tampa)

I have no good headliners, so that's my good headliner, hope you enjoyed it Twas a good week, we started out with a tour from good ol Hermana Ruiz (Tina) also, you guys should reach out to the missionaries in the historic sites missions, because they give some awesome tours! And made some BOMB lemon bars for the Patricks, and we threw whipped cream pies at each others faces, yes, that did happen. EXCHANGE ON TUESDAY WITH ELDER HOLLOWAY! He was best friends with my zone leader from Argentina, so it was AWESOME! The boy is going to run track at UVU, so we talked about track literally the whole time! (We also had dinner with Tom Brady's personal trainer, guys, I'm freaking out) We flipped right into Wednesday with another exchange. Elder Benavente came here, and we sent good ol Elder Hughes off. Elder Benavente is a fun kid (he's actually 26, so a tad bit older than me) and is just about to finish his training. We made some BOMB peanut butter cookies and dropped them off ...
