Elder Jeddy Bennett

Well everyone!! This week was a good one, sorry if everything sounds repetitive, but there are always miracles, requires us to have eyes to see and ears to hear! This week, we set up a way to help our friend Juan quit smoking, he so badly wants his wife to join in on the lessons with him, so that way he has more support as they look for a turno por casamiento We are starting to help our friend Juan Diaz keep progressing, to help make his way to the temple. He has a lot of support from the ward and his mom is incredibly interested in the Gospel, so we'll be working with her more this week! While he was with us, a less active member came up to us saying he wants his kids to be introduced to the Gospel, so we get to be working with him more! And Juan sees the miracles that exist in missionary work!! Our good ol friends, the llanos rodriguez family made us a lot of food this week, as usual, and we got to celebrate the 11th birthday of Andres, and HE GETS BAPTIZED THIS NEXT SUNDAY!! HE...

Well everyone, this was definitely an interesting week, let me tell ya! On Tuesday, we had exchanges, and I was in my area with Elder Da Matta! Twas a party. AND WE GOT A WASHING MACHINE, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Then we got news that for the week we would have a 3rd Elder that was going to be with us for the week, while he was finishing his mission. We got him on Tuesday, and his name is Elder Contreras, he served in the comodoro, rivadavia mission. AND HE KNEW ELDER GALLARDO FROM HIGH SCHOOL, small world Wednesday we got news of new Covid restricciones, that we weren't allowed outside of our apartments after 8 pm (safer that way anyways, lol) and that all religious activities would stop, including baptisms.  So then began thursday. We began a frantic search for who was prepared to make a covenant with God before restrictions went up. Hope everyone is doing super well!!  This week we had a gira de la mision with our good friends Elder and Sister De Hoyos. President of the area of south america sur. He's a beast! It was so much fun!! We had our last zone activity, because Covid restrictions have gone back up. So no more meetings in person for church. Luckily we can still go to homes if we've been invited over. I go stir crazy inside, so I have to have as many appointments as possible that are not video calls or calls (i picked that up from Elder Thacker, love that man)  But life is going good! This week was definitely was an interesting one, where do I start We had interviews this week, but my companion and I didn't get them, because we had to go to Glew for a stake meeting, and the Elders before us went too long. So instead we did some roleplays of the restoration of the gospel, and then the assistants drove us to Glew, where we listened to a big ol stake meeting. We then spent the night with the Glew Elders, ELDER SOSA Y ELDER BLACKHAM!!!!  We had our first english class this week, so that was exciting. I got to teach english to all the people in my district, so that's an exciting time. Let me tell ya, I do not know how to teach english. I'll do my best.
