Elder Jeddy Bennett

Another week from your friendly Floridian Jeddy Bennett. We find ourselves in the midst of Thanksgiving season, where Turkey is great and gratitude is even greater :).  HOPE EVERYONE HAD ONE FLIP FLAPPING FANTASTICAL WEEK!!! GET HYPED FOR ANOTHER FLIP FLAPPING FANTASTICAL WEEK!! And while you do that, I'll let you know how my week went. This week definitely started out on a high note. We had Eric and we were able to help him with his questions and HE ACCEPTED A DATE FOR DEC. 12 AND HE'S SO EXCITED FOR IT! EVERYONE PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM!! Good ol tuesday, we got to practice for our christmas post! Everyone, I did sing in an a capella choir, and I didn't completely, absolutely botch it! We had some good ol lessons, one with our friend Christopher! He has an amazing desire to learn and really want to be baptized on the 11th, so pray for him as well!  WELL EVERYONE!! TWAS ONE GOOD WEEK!! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO REBEKA! A lot of lessons fell through, but God is good!  We met with our friend Christopher on Monday, and he really wants to learn his purpose, so we explained the plan of Salvation to him and then HE ACCEPTED A BAPTISMAL DATE FOR DEC 11!! He has eye surgery this week to, so everyone pray for him!!  We had an exchange with Wesley chapel, so I got to leave the area this week, and man, that was a nice area and a nice apartment. We ended up walking around meeting members in the complex since we had to stay in and do some calls at the apartment. I was going stir crazy, I need to see more than one room, lol.  I just wanted to start out by saying, you're all the best. And because of that, I'm going to explain what being a missionary means. I'm out here, not only because I know Jesus christ is my savior, but because I know the church of Jesus Christ is his church here on the earth. That it is led and guided by priesthood authority and the path to having an eternal family. This claim only stands up if the book of mormon is true. I have read it and pray every, single time, to know if it's true. I can tell you, without a single doubt in my heart, that the book of mormon is true. I want every person to experience the joy that I have felt from this Gospel. If you ever have had questions of why I'm here, or what I'm sharing and believe, let me know! TWAS A GOOD WEEK!!! The good stuff that went down everyone - Right after last p-day, a fight broke out in our apartment complex, that was wild - We taught our friend Eric again! He's progressing super well and super excited for his baptism! He understands the importance of entering into a covenant with God and is super prepared!  - We set a baptismal date with Simon! He's a 15 year old and is super awesome! He really wants to improve his situation and be an example for his family - We filming a 'no hands' cooking with the Gospel video (check out finding Jesus Christ in Tampa this week) and Elder Holloway put a cinnamon roll in the microwave and we ended up smoking the entire kitchen and you couldn't see anything  - we had exchanges with the Social media zone leaders, and they gave us all the good ol numbers of facebook  - WE RAN INTO A CAR SHOW!! For all of you that enjoy a good spark notes version of an email, I got you, because I'm running out of time!! This week was super awesome!!  -had exchanges with Elder Layne. He's big money layne now, and I got to help him make improvements within his area and district. And I took him to twisty treat for the first time (@Ahnika ;)  )  -We met our friend Eric, WHO WE PUT ON BAPTISMAL DATE AND HE'S SUPER PREPARED AND WANTS TO LEARN ABOUT THE ATONEMENT AND BE BAPTIZED AND HE'S JUST SUPER AWESOME AND IT WAS A TOTAL MIRACLE, YEEEEEEHAAAAAWWWW -Elder Jacobs went to the temple, and we wome up at 4:45 that day to run, and I have never been so flipping tired in my life. For all you folks getting up early to run, I'm impressed out of my mind -Elder Thacker got to go to Clearwater to baptized someone he was working with down there for 6 months, so it was me and Elder Jacobs sunday night  -HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!
