Well, Monday is here everyone, it's Monday, yes peeps, it is Monday :). We played some pickle ball (Florida at 2 pm is REALLY HOT) but we actually taught a lesson before we started our p-day, super cool guy from Guayana and wants us to drop off a book of mormon :) We had a BEAST bible trivia live event (go judge my skills people). But not to much happened, tis all good  So, after monday, I forgot to write everyday, so yeah, sorry fellas, deprived of my comedic genius for the week. But this week was pretty good!! We invited our friend Mark to Baptism on Augist 1!! WOOOOOOOOO, HE'S SO EXCITED!!! LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOO!! And then we got 4 people to virtual church, that was a wild time Sunday, we had a visitor from Florida call us and ask for us to give her the sacrament, so met good ol Haley! She was super nice, and was super thankful we were able to give her that. Not gonna lie, wish there were more chances to get out of the house and do service, but most people are hesitant to h...

Well howdy everyone! I didn't see ya there, wow, man, I crack myself up! In honor of all the dad's, here's a sad joke to start us off Why couldn't you hear the Pterodactyl go to the bathroom??? BECAUSE THE P IS SILENT, BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! LOVE YOU DAD!! YOU ARE THE FREAKING GREATEST!! (I'm snapping my fingers just like you taught me) Well, this week was actually amazing everyone!! So we've been finding, teaching, all that good stuff! Also, I'm getting pretty good at pickle ball, so in 14 months, bring it on, I'm going to go destroy out in those tourneys, hehehehe! I wanted to focus on 2 things that happened this week, that shows that as missionaries and as people in general, we are put in people's lives, for a reason! So to start the week, we were calling through Area book and called a woman named Sandy. She absolutely adores the missionaries. Her sister Sharon was also on the phone, but was super stressed out. Her garage had flooded, she lived alo...

Well everyone, another week, another week, wow, I am so funny. But we had an interesting week, definitely felt like there was no time this week, but what can ya do I had a bunch of exchanges with the Tampa Spanish while my companion helped edit their video at the mission offices. That was a wild time, and everyone, guess what. If you've seen Icarly, you'll be happy, because, I ATE SPAGHETTI TACOS!!! YEET, DAB, WHIP, NAE NAE!!!! It happened, what a time, but I had some woman scream at me over the phone in spanish, lol But some miracles this week! We met a woman, named Martha Cain, who is 80 years old, and wanted to be baptized 30 years ago! But her husband passed away and she lost contact with the missionaries:( but she was beyond excited to hear us, and to hear she can still be baptized, plus, she do the temple work for her husband!!! (She's 80, so we have to wait until it's safe for her to leave her home, but she's still excited!!!) We also got in contact with a me...

Monday, welp, twas a party. We played pickle ball for probably 3 hours and let me tell ya, I am a pickle ball master, went undefeated. Actually met a super cool guy named Garrett, and he gave me all the trade secrets to pickleball. At night we learned we now have an official 7:30 curfew until further notice, SO YAYAYAYAYA, WOOOOOO!! Tuesday, first time I've seen all my district in one "place" (zoom people, no need to panic) and we had a bunch of lessons. Met my second cousin (yuppers, my second cousin lives in this ward) so we were talking about all the connections and who we knew. Went to a riverfront park to take some pics for Facebook, Tampa is amazing! At night, we had some fun times making a "draw-my-life" video for the facebook page, look at me being all artsy. We Jerry-rigged the setup so we could do it, was a true master piece for sure! Well everyone, we got a rental car, that means no tiwi (all the missionaries will appreciate that) but basically we wo...

Tampa week 1 boys. I'm a Florida man

Well fellas, we're here. I'll try and remember everything that happened this week!  I'm in the South Tampa area :). My companion is Elder Memmott, he has 20 months in the mission. He's a super fun guy. He's an English speaking missionary so I get to do all the Spanish contacts hehehehehe. I can understand why people have the same emails as they've been in quarantine. It's not super exciting. But we did have a referral that was the FBI, whoops.  This week has been getting to know the members a lot, and help to push missionary work from the facebook page. I'm gonna get creative with my videos hehehehehe. I did try and make some cinnamon bread, the first time, I switched the sugar for salt and that did not go well. I fixed it the second time I did it, hehehe. At night, we do get some time to play basketball, so I'll hopefully be baller, but what can ya do. John 13:15 Christ has given us the example. That means we have to love as he did. It does not matt...
