emergency transfers, and vaccinations

QUE ONDA MIS MICROONDAS!!!! ESPERO QUE VOSOTROS ESTÉIS DE DIEZ, estoy tranqui panqui en Argentina, y el tiempo pasa al toque roque pique enrique. Sorry, needed to throw some random phrases out there, for that reason people say I'm overally animated.

Well, it was a short week, but way too much happened. We hit wendesday, our last preparation day, and then randomly wednesday night our assistants called, here is our wonderful conversation (we thought they were calling to bajar la caña as assistants do) but

Elder Borgogno, "Hola masterrss, como estan”

Nosotros, "de diez, y ustedes?”

Elder Borgogno, "Muy bien. Elder Bennett, Hermana Fernandez me contó que usted se sintía mal”

Yo, "nada que ver, me siento de diez”

Elder Borgogno, "Asi, tiene que ver si panza de nuevo, porque VA A TENER UN BEBE”

Nosotros, "sonidos de grillos... como?”

Elder Borgogno, "VA A ESTAR ENTRENANDO”

and that is how I was told that I was pregnant,  what an amazing story, I'm sure you all really enjoyed reading through it. I'll be training and will be a district leader instead of a zone leader, so we'll see how that goes!

But I get to train one of the 2 new missionaries that will be coming in in 15 dias, the only 2 that will be coming in for months, poor mission! But I'm super excited!!! VAMOS CORDOBA, he's from cordoba so we'll see if I pick up the cordoba accent and drop the porteño accent.

Thursday was my last day in Guernica, but in the morning we went to Adrogue, to get vaccinations, but they then told us we would be traveling to Ciudad de Evita (another 1 drive) to get our flu shots. But the uber driver is super sweet, and he now is going to be taught by the Elders in Adrogue, so ABRIR SU BOCA CHICOS!! We got back, the assistants bought us HAMBURGA, that was delicious, and then said my farewells in Guernica in la tarde.

Friday, we went to Villa Madero/Celina, LET'S GOOOOO! It's in la matanza de Buenos Aires. We had quite a bit of success over the weekend in getting our friends to church, and there's quite a bit of potential for success in this area! So I'll be sprinting to get to know the area in these 2 weeks!

As I've been studying this week, I noticed la siega, y la siembra. Which is the sow, and the reap/harvest. Every person has a specific role to play, which has 2 parts. To sow, and to reap. Meaning, that every person will find someone that is in need, that your talents, your testimony, and your heart, will touch and change that person forever, but we cannot negate our responsibility to sow along the way. Ammon, Aaron, Omner and Himni all had great success in their missionary labors, through service or the preaching of the doctrine of Christ. Many souls made their way back to Christ that were lost. In Alma 25:17 we see the great joy of what the sons of mosiah accomplished, but we tend to overlook that the success came in different parts, with the end being in Alma 25:6, where many remembered the words of Aaron. At this moment, Aaron was not preaching to them, but rather had sowed a testimony in their hearts. This testimony caused a great change in them, and brought them to the truth at a later time. In John 4: 35-37, after Christ had taught the woman at the well, he states that the field is white and ready to harvest, and the reaper will receive wages unto life eternal, but... "that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.”

Seek to do good in the lives of all people, teach to those that listen, but continue to love those that don't. Your example, words, and light will change someone's life forever, whether it be in the moment that you met them, or long afterwards!

ama a toda persona y a toda cosa

Elder Bennett
