TAMPA ONLY TAKES DUBS
TAMPA BUCS FOR THE W!! ROAD TO SUPER BOWL LV!!! EVERYONE CHEER FOR THE BUCS BECAUSE I AM CURRENTLY LIVING 15 MINUTES FROM STADIUM, WOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Hope that caught everyone's attention, but this week was absolutely awesome!
We had some awesome lessons with our friends Tin and Ani! We put both of them on date, and both are loving the book of mormon and got permission from their parents, MIRACLES!!!! AND BOTH OF THEM CAME TO CHURCH, YEEEEEEHAAAAAWWW!!!
We had zone conference, and it was powerful! Elder Thacker and I gave a training on being a 'Preach My Gospel' missionary. I loved it! Then President spoke all about the atonement, because that is our central doctrine. EVERYTHING revolves around the atonement, without it, we are lost in our fallen and mortal state.
WE HAD AN AWESOME LESSON WITH ERIC!! IT'S BEEN FOREVER, BUT BISHOP PATEL JOINED IN AND IT WAS POWERFUL. We talked about how sometimes, God only gives us what we need at the moment, and not everything can or will be revealed. The spirt was tangible!
Had virtual exchanges with the Assistants and with Tampa Spanish A Elders. Those were so much fun!
Awesome week! We got yelled out for being drug dealers, and we told him that we only preach about Jesus. Our only gift for the world, the true Gospel of Jesus Christ!
This week, in our exchanges, there were a lot of cool, and powerful experiences. We read 2 kings 5, the story of Namaan. He was frustrated by the Prophet's council. It wasn't the cleanest river and the prophet didn't even come to him. But his servant convinced him to wash himself 7 times. He did so and was healed.
In the first half of 4 nephi, the only other Zion besides that of Enoch was established. There were no manner of ites.
The connections are vague, but because the nephites followed God's council, even the small things, they were blessed greatly. So much so that they were 0 contention. Every day, we require a self evaluation. What did we do well today and what can we do better tomorrow. To know what small things can we change in order to reach the great potential that us, and those we meet, have.
I invite each of you, to look at the attributes of Christ, and strive to be as he would. We cannot be perfect, but we can put in our (it is personal) effort into being as Christ was and is!
Ama a toda persona y a toda cosa
