all nighters!!
Well everyone, what a time!!
This week, we're trying to clean up our area, but we finally got to enter the villa, villa of our area. It wasn't as dangerous as everyone said it was, lol
Highlights of the week:
-Had an intercambio with Elder Guanilo, almost went in the most dangerous villa in our mission (don't worry, we didn't go in)
-Saw Eugenia, a recent convert of one my companions that loves me, I got to see her, it was so awesome!
-WENT BACK TO GUERNICA!!!!! LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! We took a remis and got to the train in Lomas de Zamora and then ended up in Guernica. Was super fun, and we had to get up at 3 am to fill up the font, and what tends to happen on exchanges is you end up talking for a while. So, we ended up not sleeping until 3 am, then we went to the church and got everything ready, and Andres got baptized at 8 am!!!!
-We had an asado with the llanos rodriguez family, and they gave me a magnet and a river mug, I absolutely love Guernica, then we took an uber and went on back to Villa Madero
-Had Zone conference this week, and it was absolutely amazing. We talked about consistenly being focused on your missionary purpose
Invitamos a las personas a venir a Cristo al ayudarles a que reciban el evangelio restaurado mediante la fe en Jesucristo y su expiacion, el arrepentimiento, el bautismo, la recepcion de don del espiritu santo y el perserverar hasta el fin
In Alma 34, a great importance, as all of the canon of scriptures are, is the atonement. In verse 17, it says, "17 Therefore may God grant unto you, my brethren, that ye may begin to exercise your faith unto repentance, that ye begin to call upon his holy name, that he would have mercy upon you"
Then verses 18-27 show when you should and what you can pray for. This shows that prayer itself is an act of repentance. If each day we're willing to humble ourselves before God and to change for the better, each and everyday. Remember to pray. It shows your love to God. Each day, go through your day, and seek to make small adjustments to become more like Christ, and as we do so, we can be perfected... eventually (in the famous words of holland).
Christ is real, he existed, and is the savior and redeemer of the world. Our mistakes will never be permanent , and our strengths can be amplified
Ama a todas las personas y a todas las cosas
