Vamos Buccaneers
Week everyone, let me tell ya, this was a week for the books. I don't even know, so I'll get started
First off, LET'S GO TAMPA, BUCS FOR THE WIN!!
We had transfers and Elder Thacker se fue a Fort Meyers. I got to hang out with the 2 new ZLs until I took off. And we were super busy both days. WE HAD LUNCH WITH ERIC!!!! I GOT TO SAY GOODBYE TO HIM!! Then President and Sister Hollingsworth invited me to the departing missionary dinner (I felt a little out of place, not going to lie) Said goodbye to the Hollingsworth, that was heartbreaking :(.
I spent a whole lot of time packing. It was straight madness. Getting to the airport, first we had troubles getting to Miami from Tampa, because only residents could enter (little did they know, hehehe) then in Miami, the people said they weren't going to let us on the plane, but we had the right documents (be prepared, let's go!!)
We got on the plane, met some awesome people on the plane ride down! They told me all about argentina and the political and economical situation. I got to talk about the Plan of Salvation with them as well!
Then we get to Argentina, FIRST GRINGO HERE SINCE LAST MARCH BABY (with the other elders on my flight of course) I waited until the other Elders got here, and then we came to our pension, la que es RE CHETA PERO MAL (YA SOY ARGENTINO CHAVONES)
So, currently it's me, Elder Peterson, Elder Faussett and Elder Morrill (from my group) and it's been super fun! The office Elders have helped out a ton (we aren't allowed to say that we ever left argentina, rather that we stayed here the entire time during the pandemic)
We're teaching a lot online, through facebook and whatsapp, it's absolutely amazing!
Well, it's been interesting here, but as I've read in King Benjamin's sermon in Mosiah, the experience here makes me think of this (stay with me). He gathered all his people, and there were so many people, messengers had to go and deliver his words to those round about. We've all been asked to gather towards Christ, which of course is the main idea of King Benjamin's sermon and literally EVERYTHING. As missionaries, we are in different places, and are asked to deliver the same message, to anyone and everyone. No matter how long it takes. I know that the gathering of Israel is happening and that Christ leads this work. Each of us has the opportunity to be on the Lord's errand, and when you're constantly on the Lord's errand, there is no wasted time!
Ama a toda persona y toda cosa
