Twinkle toes
Well, another week here in Carrollwood!
We played some pickleball on Monday (for all those who play, you know who you are, bring it on, pickle ball is now my sport) and since we were staying, not a ton of stress went on, so twas good.
-We got to help out with transfers and direct everyone to be socially distant and said hi/bye to all the missionaries in the zone and those who are going home, it's so sad, so bitter sweet.
-WE SET OUR FRIEND ANGELA ON BAPTISMAL DATE!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOO!! SHE'S AWESOME!!
-We met the new STLs (the other 2 finished their movies) and they're beast! We're going to kill it this transfer in the Tampa Zone!
-We got in contact with our friend George! We're getting him connected with ARP classes, everyone pray for him, he's struggling with a lot right now.
-We got to spend the afternoon with Elder Makechnie, before he was picked up by his trainers. He jumped straight into contacting, throw him into the line of fire, it was awesome!
-We played soccer and baseball with the Mahana family! That was so much fun. Family sports time. Sister Mahana called me twinkle toes and all I could think about was Avatar. I am Aang. (Iykyk)
-We did service (built a desk) for a pastor named Katherine and she was awesome. She actually wants to learn a lot about the book of mormon, so we're going to do a church tour with her this week!
-We met our friend Tiffani, who grew up in Utah, out of the blue, while knocking on a self-refferal's door. She's super awesome!
-WE HAD 2ND HOUR AT CHURCH THIS SUNDAY! IT WAS SO AWESOME!! And then we had a balloon parade for a 100 year old woman! It was so fun! We just taped balloons to our car and had our whole district there! PARTY TIME!!!!
This week was amazing, but of course, everything ties back into our Savior Jesus Christ. We must have eyes to see and ears to hear. Russel M Nelson describes in his talk 'Truth.. and more' that truth is not relative but rather our perspective and understanding of truth is perspective. Because of that, our understanding of people only comes from getting to know them, circumstances, and what they care for. We must have eyes to see who they are and they potential they have. Each person is a child of God (Romans 8:16) and need to be treated as such. Thomas S. Monson, before he passed away said, "We must develop the capacity to see men not as they are at present but as they may become." I invite each of you to strive to see and treat others as Christ would. Remove judgement, and love in all circumstances. I promise you will begin to develop the same love that Christ has asked to have for another (John 15:12)
Ama a toda persona y a toda cosa
