I WANNA WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS (feliz Navidad)

This was definitely a good ol week. We're on the grind out here in the Carrollwood ward!

Tuesday we got some more Mission BBQ, Then I got to exchange with Elder Whitney, and new missionary! He's trying to teach me Hiligaynon (yes it's a real language, and yes, I'm going to learn the missionary purpose in it)

We got to go help Brother Hodges with this platform he's building, and eventually going to turn it into a giant water slide. I was the wood mover guy, but you know, I'll be the best darn wood mover guy you'll ever know!

FELIZ NAVIDAD!! We had a district breakfast, and let me tell ya, I got a lightsaber from a white elephant gift exchange. I am one with the force now. We stopped by some members, and saw what they got for Christmas. The Spencer family fed us and man, ham has never been so good. Then we spent the rest of the time dropping off cookies to people on Christmas. We randomly had a girl named Ashley call us.

The next day, we had a lesson with Ashley, she opened up a lot to us, but, SHE'S ON DATE NOW!! We'll see how it goes!

We had a sweet old lady, who's a convert of a few years, play a beautiful piano piece 'I believe in Christ' and let me tell ya, the spirit was absolutely powerful! Then she bore her testimony and it was BOOOOOOOOOMM, the spirit slapped ya in the face.

We had our friend Tiffani come to church out of the blue. And then finished out our good ol Sunday.

I'm not the most exciting writer, but the topic of the culture of Christ is on my mind. We strive each day to develop a culture of peace, unity, and Christ like love in the world. We want every person to feel that love, yet a culture is formed by the individual. In order to develop a culture of Christ, we have to choose to accept Christ into our hearts first. Christ is our Savior and redeemer, but he has never forced us to follow him. His invitation is to, "come, follow me" This new year, I invite each of you to let Christ into your life. Choose to accept him, and if you do so, we can truly develop a Culture of Christ that can span all kindreds, tongues, and people.
