Bowling and running out of time
I don't have a ton of time this week everyone, but twas one heck of a week!
We went bowling on monday, and I definitely bowled my best games when I was turned around and throwing it between my legs. So, everyone, if you can't beat me in a game of bowling, you need to pick it up.
We had MLC this week, absolutely amazing! We talked a lot about conversion. How conversion is not a you reach your final destination and stop, but is a continuing, life-long process! It requires diligent effort in building our faith, and turning our hearts to God!!
We also had some awesome miracles! Our friend freddy is out of the hospital!! Our friend Laura came to church and LOVED IT!! SHE'S SO EXCITED FOR HER BAPTISM!! YEEEEEHAAAAWWW!!! And we found a friend, named Monica, through a Facebook Ad. On out first visit, SHE ACCEPTED A DATE TO BE BAPTIZED!!! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!
ALSO, I FINALLY GOT THE CHANCE TO GO TO CHURCH IN PERSON!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Took a whole fat minute, but that's a-okay!
I'll be better at my writing this next week. But in my studies this week, I was finishing 3rd Nephi and starting Mormon. We see the changes in the people. They become absolutely devoted to Christ, but through generations, they change, and are led to their own desires, because they chose to forget their spiritual experiences, where God had been with them!
We each need to develop our own path in life, we can learn from one another, we can obey what our parents have given us, but eventually we must develop individually. But not at random, as the nephites did, but rather do it purposely, choosing to change with Christ. Developing ourselves into the disciples he not only wants us to be, but needs us to be!! Take time this week to see how you can take one step towards Christ!
Love you all!!!
