I'm suppose to major in math, and yet I don't remember numbers, this is bad
WELL FELLAS!! ANOTHER WEEK!! AND WE ARE LIVING LIFE!!
I TOTALY FORGOT TO SAY LAST WEEK THAT OUR FRIEND MARK GOT BAPTIZED!! I taught him for the first 2.5 months I was here, invited him to be baptized, he was ecstatic, and then we found he lived in another area! But HE MADE IT, WE LOVE MARK!!! My comp has screenshots of good ol Mark, so we'll get those real soon!
This week was definitely slow, we're trying to utilize family history work more, and if anyone knows how to run an emergency prep class, let us know, I'm still trying to figure that one out.
We did start planning a podcast with a member, Bro Espinoza!! He's awesome and wants to be involved in missionary work in anyway he can, so we're going to get him involved in our facebook page, so Facebook starts to find those ready to receive the gospel!
WE GOT A NEW CAR!!! 2020 CHEVY EQUINOX!!! IT WAS BRAND NEW, I WAS FREAKING OUT!!! AND I GET TO DRIVE IT!! Our car's name is Quin, you can all decide if that's a girl or a guy, I'm just gonna stick as the person driving the car.
I ran 2 TIMES THIS WEEK! AND OHMYHECK, I AM OUT OF SHAPE!!! YEEEEEHAAAAWWWW!!! LET'S GO! I LOVE RUNNING!!! Only a mile each time, but what can ya do.
This week, I focused a lot on what the atonement is, and what it means. I know, that I have never truly understood the Atonement, until my mission. Because of what Christ did, because of his sacrifice, ANY EFFORT, in a positive direction, shows we love him. 2 nephi 25:23 states "after all we can do" but in reality, what can we do? Ammon and Moses both saw the nothingness of man, and how without God, our life would be futile, there would be no direction! 2 nephi 26:25 is an invite, to partake of the greatness of the Atonement, without charge. The gift of Grace is amazing, and cannot be understated.
Choose to turn back to God! I invite you all to ask God in prayer this week, what can I do for you? After all, he and our Heavenly Mother have done everything for us!!
