I'm bad at counting weeks
No transfers news for the trio of South tampa so we have another transfer to GRIND!! LET'S GOOOOOOOO!! ALSO, PLAYED SOME AWESOME HEAD PONG, I need to practice soccer, and that's what I did!
Tuesday, we got... 2 NEW ELDERS (just housing them) wished they had stayed, they were awesome! It was Elder Faletoi and Elder Jeppson! And for all you Jordan kids out there, yes, it was the son of Brother Jeppson, our seminary prez! Both were serving in the phillipines, and Elder Faletoi said he knew Graden from his mission!! (Elder Reber, you're famous) And then Abby Gardner from Jordan showed up in our mission, WHAT IS HAPPENING IN TAMPA FLORIDA!!
Well, day 2 of Faletoi and Jepson!! Reno and David.. WANT TO BE BAPTIZED, we unfortunately have 2 problems with that.. Reno is in Alabama, waiting for his doctors to tell him to come to Florida, and David is 70, so the virus is saying no, but WOOOOOO, I LOVE THOSE 2!!! We never stop here!!
Thursday, just a grind on the cell phone, but those days happen, KEEP GOING!! Man, I really like to capitalize my words, hope everyone feels my UNENDING EXCITEMENT, YAYAYAYAYAYAYA!!!
Friday, hmmmmm, well, Sister Cruz (an awesome member from the Dominican Republic, I have my in with all the Spanish members) introduced us to her niece, Sidney, who wants to talk to the missionaries, while she's here in Tampa!! Also, we met, good ol Kapil, and I learned A TON about Hinduism, actually a super cool religion, I love learning about other backgrounds! Also, Sister Cruz, bought us pizzas from Doormét, OHMYHECK, they were amazing!
The weekend was good and fun, we were all tired (our wifi doesn't work in the South Tampa ward, so we're doing a butt ton of driving to do our zoom calls, but not gonna lie, just glad we have wifi, good times) but Sunday, we got 4 people to virtual church and found out that Florida might go to online sacrament meeting, a short, weekly service, everyone is pretty tired of Covid here, so that's always fun!
This week, was full of good studies! In Romans, (Romans 3:23) we read that we all sin, we have to accept that, and understand that we will unfortunately fall short in this life, but that doesn't mean we cannot have faith, but rather that we must act, and move forward (James 2:17-26). Christ has shown his infinite love by giving us the chance to live with our heavenly father again! As we learn more, we seek more, and the cycle continues, as we grow and progress on this earth (DC 50:24), but we have to realize that there is a God, because all things denote there is a God (Alma 30:44) and if there is a God, then allowing ourselves to be changed by him, through his gospel, is the greatest thing we can do, because our Heavenly Parents can see our infinite worth and potential (Alma 31:5) You are loved! Know that and express that love to others, be outward in your expression of it (Everyone go read or listen to 'Character of Christ' by David A. Bednar)
