Tampa week 2

Monday, welp, twas a party. We played pickle ball for probably 3 hours and let me tell ya, I am a pickle ball master, went undefeated. Actually met a super cool guy named Garrett, and he gave me all the trade secrets to pickleball. At night we learned we now have an official 7:30 curfew until further notice, SO YAYAYAYAYA, WOOOOOO!!

Tuesday, first time I've seen all my district in one "place" (zoom people, no need to panic) and we had a bunch of lessons. Met my second cousin (yuppers, my second cousin lives in this ward) so we were talking about all the connections and who we knew. Went to a riverfront park to take some pics for Facebook, Tampa is amazing! At night, we had some fun times making a "draw-my-life" video for the facebook page, look at me being all artsy. We Jerry-rigged the setup so we could do it, was a true master piece for sure!

Well everyone, we got a rental car, that means no tiwi (all the missionaries will appreciate that) but basically we won't be micromanaged while we drive. Had 2 Spanish lessons with members :) and The graneros family wants to cook us a Bolivian dinner on Monday. My cousin (Sis Patrick) is giving us dinner tomorrow! WHAT A WARD! The Spanish has really given me an in, hehe. Now, I just need one of the billion people I call everyday to answer my phone

Welp, we had some dinner with Sister Patrick! They were super fun, and they want us to get into contact with their friend Eliane, who's trying to move into the ward!

Keep the member food rolling. On friday, we got a zoom dinner with the Morse family. THEY SENT US PIZZA AND WINGS!! AAAAAHHHHHHH!! If you can't tell, I was happy :) and we got into contact with eliane, and now I'm gonna try and learn French to talk to her better, so help me out, and pray for me.

Saturday was cool. Had a Facebook finding class, had a tornado warning, no big deal. And then had an intercambio. With Elder Hakwes. Super fun to be with another Spanish speaking elder! Taught some beast lessons. Did teach some members and the zoom call ran out of time right at the end, whoops. Started our 24 hour fast, FAST FOR THE ZONE, BABYYYYY!!!!

Sunday, we made some cookies and some checking good crock pot chicken (don't cook while you're fasting, man, that's rough) but had some beast lessons and we're doing our best to get the ward involved in everything. Life is good over here in the sunshine state

2 nephi 26:27, God has invited all to partake of the salvation that comes through Christ! And as missionaries, we are here to find those, who need and want to accept Christ in their lives. There is no greater joy, than the happiness that comes through letting Christ into your life! Through the hardest times, we can have his support!
