Lemon squares for days (they're not good for your stomach)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE ONE AND ONLY ABBY BENNETT! To celebrate, we made lemon squares, just for you Abby. They may not have been the greatest things for our stomachs, lol. Proverbs 27:23 - KNOW THE PEOPLE, CARE FOR EACH OF THEM INDIVIDUALLY!

 

Today, we learned why we talk to everyone. I stopped a talk to this woman who was sitting in a car. She was nearly at the point of tears, because she had no phone, and her car broke down. So we gave her our phone, and she was beyond grateful, just little acts of service like that is what we need to look for in our lives. Some dude in the park talked to us for an hour and a half, about everything. We talked about the San Andreas fault line for 20 minutes, I was so lost. Memorized Matthew 5:44 in ingles.

 

Well, some drunk dude called us yankees and that we need to leave his country.  And some woman I talked to in the colectivo (bus) said that us yankees are infiltrating her country. Good times, good times. But we are teaching Florencia again!! Memorized Matthew 5:44 in espanol:  Love your enemies, have charity for everyone!

 

Well, we went ham on Friday (I always go ham, just so you know). Found a ton of nuevos para enseñar! Some dude asked us to bless his wedding next Saturday, so we'll see what happens. Got a family to talk to us by talking about AC-DC and the Beatles for 10 minutes (thank you father). AND THE FRIEND OF HERMANO CANETE IS A BEAST!!! He felt bad that he couldn't buy the BoM from us, so he gave us juice packets, what a guy. And an investigator did give us a pair of suit pants, so good day. FINISHED WITH OREO NIGHT!!! And Luke 12:34!

 

Spent the morning in a hole! We were digging a hole for the new house of Familia Maldonaldo. It's where the bathroom goes, just a giant hole. Some women today thought I was dying because I said my resting heart rate is in the 40s and she said that's not medically possible. We finished the day by moving a giant tree branch that had fallen in the yard of Graciela. Luke 12:34 in espanol. 

 

Well, got the opportunity to share Romans 8:38-39 at lunch on Sunday (THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE). Hermano Loyal cooked us delicious Venezuelan sandwiches for dinner, and ME AND ALLEN HAVE PERMISSION TO GO THE WEDDING, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. If you can't tell, I'm hyped. Memorized John 8:12, KEEP GRINDING!!!

I MISSED LAST WEEK

Sorry everyone, last preparation day was interesting, so didn't have much time to do anything, lol, but life is good in Argentina ladies and gentlefolks I got to do a baptismal interview of Elizabeth leteno, from laferrere. That was humbling and powerful, to see the hope that the gospel has brought to her life, and I got to go to her baptism and help the Lafe Elderes!  We had a good ol tormenta blanca en nuestro area. He was super rushed, so we didnt get a ton of time to talk, but a SPIRITUAL GIANT Presidente Fernandez THEN WE GOT TO DO AN INTERCAMBIO WITH MY HERO ELDER THOMAS!!! I FETCHING LOVE HIM! HOPPY PASCUAS A TODOS QUE LEEN ESTA CARTA Y LOS DEMAS!!! ESPERO QUE DISFRTUARAN SU FIN DE SEMANA CON LOS PROFETAS Y APOSTOLES!!!!! This week was definitely was an interesting one, where do I start We had interviews this week, but my companion and I didn't get them, because we had to go to Glew for a stake meeting, and the Elders before us went too long. So instead we did some roleplays of the restoration of the gospel, and then the assistants drove us to Glew, where we listened to a big ol stake meeting. We then spent the night with the Glew Elders, ELDER SOSA Y ELDER BLACKHAM!!!!  We had our first english class this week, so that was exciting. I got to teach english to all the people in my district, so that's an exciting time. Let me tell ya, I do not know how to teach english. I'll do my best. TAMPA ONLY TAKES DUBS

 TAMPA BUCS FOR THE W!! ROAD TO SUPER BOWL LV!!! EVERYONE CHEER FOR THE BUCS BECAUSE I AM CURRENTLY LIVING 15 MINUTES FROM STADIUM, WOOOOOOOOO!!!! Hope that caught everyone's attention, but this week was absolutely awesome!  We had some awesome lessons with our friends Tin and Ani! We put both of them on date, and both are loving the book of mormon and got permission from their parents, MIRACLES!!!! AND BOTH OF THEM CAME TO CHURCH, YEEEEEEHAAAAAWWW!!! We had zone conference, and it was powerful! Elder Thacker and I gave a training on being a 'Preach My Gospel' missionary. I loved it! Then President spoke all about the atonement, because that is our central doctrine. EVERYTHING revolves around the atonement, without it, we are lost in our fallen and mortal state.  WE HAD AN AWESOME LESSON WITH ERIC!!
