Well, my first p-day in the field was a wild ride. Played soccer with my district, and I balled up on these boys. My companion is way good at soccer! Afterwards, we were in the cyber cafe for so long, we almost didn't have enough pesos to pay for it, lol.

I have never poured my soul out to God like I did today. I know he knows us, and loves us. He has mercy on those who truly repent, and show that! Turn to God for help. He knows us better than we know ourselves! I know he will help me, and he can help all of you! I memorized Alma 9:27 tonight :)

So Tuesday was amazing! Had our district meeting, got an alfajore, and then we went to work. We had no citas (appointments) so it was walking, and finding. And we had a ton of success today! It's so fun to talk to people, even in my crappy Spanish. And I love putting a smile on people's faces with my random dancing in the streets! As it says in Alma 27:18 (scripture I memorized) this truly is the gospel and work that will bring you Joy! Loving life here in Argentina fellas!

Well, twas a good day. Got to leave the area! We went to Lomos, so that we could get money to pay for the pension. Closer to the city is so nice, and I SAW A MCDONALDS! It made me happier than it should've. Afterwards we got lunch, and there were... MASHED POTATOES, BANANAS, AND APPLES!! I WAS SO HAPPY TO HAVE FRUIT!! Then we went to work. Twas a good day. Met Ana, the Rojo family, and other new investigators. I love this area, and the kids love me, lol. Good ol' rubio me. I love the kids here so much. Definitely loving the work of a missionary, memorized 2 Nephi 31:11! At night I called a bunch of people, and my companion just laughed because I didn't know how to use the phone, and I'm still learning Spanish, I love it! and... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM, LOVE YOU TONS!!!

So, I GOT MY FIRST BAPTISMAL DATE! It was wild. We had taught 2 lessons that day, been contacting, Garcia told me some hilarious date stories, and we decided to stop at a house. She let us in, and basically said yes to everything. She didn't even hesitate when we asked for her to be baptized. Way cool, and kinda weird experience, since it happened so fast. We talked with the Capece family, and the dad thought I was funny because of my Spanish, lol. At night, I LED A CONTACT BY MYSELF! By understanding and speaking is very slowly, but steadily improving! Memorized Matthew 5:48, while we had some good, quality pizza for dinner!

Well, it's always fun to have 11 citas, and then no one answers the door. I have learned that when it rains (there was a huge storm Friday morning) then nobody does anything. Everyone stays in their house, and sleeps. We did get to play soccer Friday night with some of our teenage investigators. That made the day good. Memorized John 3:5! Still on the grind, even though my brain got fried from Spanish on Friday.

MORE RAIN. I have never seen streets flood like they do here. It's wild. My companion hates getting wet so it's funny to see him doing everything in his power to avoid the water. Taught a bunch of good lessons. AND MY SPANISH IS GOOD ENOUGHT THAT I CAN BE A PART OF THE LESSON! My understanding isn't great, but what can ya do. My feet were soaking after Saturday, but I still had so much fun. This is where I'm supposed to be, and even though it's hard, IT's THE FLIPPING BEST!!!

Well, I GAVE A CONFIRMATION AND BLESSING ON SUNDAY IN SPANISH! For our investigator, Hector, that was baptized the week before I arrived. Received some way cool answers to my prayers in Alma 58:10-11. Don't just pray, but pour out your soul to God! We did a deep clean of our house that took like 2 hours, but was a job well done. And memorized John 3:5 in Spanish!! Twas a good week fellas!

I MISSED LAST WEEK

Sorry everyone, last preparation day was interesting, so didn't have much time to do anything, lol, but life is good in Argentina ladies and gentlefolks I got to do a baptismal interview of Elizabeth leteno, from laferrere. That was humbling and powerful, to see the hope that the gospel has brought to her life, and I got to go to her baptism and help the Lafe Elderes!  We had a good ol tormenta blanca en nuestro area. Se explotó la carpeta de area.  HAD INTERVIEWS WITH PRESIDENT!!!! Haven't had that happen since I got here, so it was good to talk to him. He was super rushed, so we didnt get a ton of time to talk, but a SPIRITUAL GIANT Presidente Fernandez THEN WE GOT TO DO AN INTERCAMBIO WITH MY HERO ELDER THOMAS!!! I FETCHING LOVE HIM! HE'S SUCH A BEAST!!!! We went and visited some people he had taught in the area, and blew up every colectivo that we went in.  On monday, DISTRICT ACTIVITY!!! HOPPY PASCUAS A TODOS QUE LEEN ESTA CARTA Y LOS DEMAS!!! ESPERO QUE DISFRTUARAN SU FIN DE SEMANA CON LOS PROFETAS Y APOSTOLES!!!!! This week was definitely was an interesting one, where do I start We had interviews this week, but my companion and I didn't get them, because we had to go to Glew for a stake meeting, and the Elders before us went too long. So instead we did some roleplays of the restoration of the gospel, and then the assistants drove us to Glew, where we listened to a big ol stake meeting. We then spent the night with the Glew Elders, ELDER SOSA Y ELDER BLACKHAM!!!!  We had our first english class this week, so that was exciting. I got to teach english to all the people in my district, so that's an exciting time. Let me tell ya, I do not know how to teach english. I'll do my best. TAMPA ONLY TAKES DUBS

 TAMPA BUCS FOR THE W!! ROAD TO SUPER BOWL LV!!! EVERYONE CHEER FOR THE BUCS BECAUSE I AM CURRENTLY LIVING 15 MINUTES FROM STADIUM, WOOOOOOOOO!!!! Hope that caught everyone's attention, but this week was absolutely awesome!  We had some awesome lessons with our friends Tin and Ani! We put both of them on date, and both are loving the book of mormon and got permission from their parents, MIRACLES!!!! AND BOTH OF THEM CAME TO CHURCH, YEEEEEEHAAAAAWWW!!! We had zone conference, and it was powerful! Elder Thacker and I gave a training on being a 'Preach My Gospel' missionary. I loved it! Then President spoke all about the atonement, because that is our central doctrine. EVERYTHING revolves around the atonement, without it, we are lost in our fallen and mortal state.  WE HAD AN AWESOME LESSON WITH ERIC!!
