El Primero Semana es en los libros


What is up everybody!! I'm almost positive I've had the most wild first week out of anyone in the ccm. My roommates are wild boys. My compañero is Elder Abott, from Boise Idaho, he turns 21 next monday, so we're throwing a big ol party, lol. My other roommates are Elder Bertoch, and Elder Gillmore. Gillmore is hilarious, and is obsessed with birds, I literally have no idea why, but its awesome. 
Me, Bryan, and Sam have been partying, and I ran into Akira and Max today, quality dudes, hopefully I'll see them around the CCM more often before I leave, I mean I am only a week in.

So to get to this week, First, Gillmore brought a book of 30 bird pictures that we ripped out and hung on our wall, to make it more cozy. Then all our doodles have been taped on our door, and we got a palm tree leaf and duck taped it right above our door. Our room has been deemed the coolest in our house. 

Last night we started a cup pong tourney in our casa, with our district and district 9C. We're all way tight, but while I was writing down the schedule for tomorrow, a guy from our district told everyone playing to stop acting like frat boys. And then that same night, me and my roommates locked ourselves out of our room. Luckily our District Leader had a multi tool, so my companion, who works in construction, took the screen off our window, (luckily the window was open or we would have been screwed) and then I crawled in and grabbed my room key.

We've also been playing a prank on an elder in the other room. Our bathrooms are connected by this little crack in the wall. So Elder Gillmore will chuck his toothbrush through and go "ELDER BLACKHAM!!!! I dropped my toothbrush" He told us he would report us to our District leader if we did it again (our district leader thinks the prank is hilarious). Blackham enjoyed the palm tree leaf we put in there bathroom the next day. They actually laughed so hard. My district is the best.
Spiritual Thought: My friend, Gillmore, was really homesick, and had thought about going home. It was hard to see. So I shared Alma 17:11 with him, a scripture my uncle had shared with me right before I left. It talks about having patience in your trials and afflictions, and we will be an instrument in the salvation of souls. It helped him out, and he's doing way better.

CCM is really, really boring, but my roommates have made it fun.

I MISSED LAST WEEK

Sorry everyone, last preparation day was interesting, so didn't have much time to do anything, lol, but life is good in Argentina ladies and gentlefolks I got to do a baptismal interview of Elizabeth leteno, from laferrere. That was humbling and powerful, to see the hope that the gospel has brought to her life, and I got to go to her baptism and help the Lafe Elderes!  We had a good ol tormenta blanca en nuestro area. Se explotó la carpeta de area.  HAD INTERVIEWS WITH PRESIDENT!!!! Haven't had that happen since I got here, so it was good to talk to him. He was super rushed, so we didnt get a ton of time to talk, but a SPIRITUAL GIANT Presidente Fernandez THEN WE GOT TO DO AN INTERCAMBIO WITH MY HERO ELDER THOMAS!!! I FETCHING LOVE HIM! HE'S SUCH A BEAST!!!! We went and visited some people he had taught in the area, and blew up every colectivo that we went in.  On monday, DISTRICT ACTIVITY!!! FELICES PASCUAS!!!!

HOPPY PASCUAS A TODOS QUE LEEN ESTA CARTA Y LOS DEMAS!!! ESPERO QUE DISFRTUARAN SU FIN DE SEMANA CON LOS PROFETAS Y APOSTOLES!!!!! This week was definitely was an interesting one, where do I start We had interviews this week, but my companion and I didn't get them, because we had to go to Glew for a stake meeting, and the Elders before us went too long. So instead we did some roleplays of the restoration of the gospel, and then the assistants drove us to Glew, where we listened to a big ol stake meeting. We then spent the night with the Glew Elders, ELDER SOSA Y ELDER BLACKHAM!!!!  We had our first english class this week, so that was exciting. I got to teach english to all the people in my district, so that's an exciting time. Let me tell ya, I do not know how to teach english. I'll do my best. TAMPA ONLY TAKES DUBS

 TAMPA BUCS FOR THE W!! ROAD TO SUPER BOWL LV!!! EVERYONE CHEER FOR THE BUCS BECAUSE I AM CURRENTLY LIVING 15 MINUTES FROM STADIUM, WOOOOOOOOO!!!! Hope that caught everyone's attention, but this week was absolutely awesome!  We had some awesome lessons with our friends Tin and Ani! We put both of them on date, and both are loving the book of mormon and got permission from their parents, MIRACLES!!!! AND BOTH OF THEM CAME TO CHURCH, YEEEEEEHAAAAAWWW!!! We had zone conference, and it was powerful! Elder Thacker and I gave a training on being a 'Preach My Gospel' missionary. I loved it! Then President spoke all about the atonement, because that is our central doctrine. EVERYTHING revolves around the atonement, without it, we are lost in our fallen and mortal state.  WE HAD AN AWESOME LESSON WITH ERIC!!
